Confirmit for Website Effectiveness

Application Fact Sheet

Businesses invest a huge amount of time and money into their websites. As one of the most high profile and interactive tools an organization has at its disposal, they are often painstakingly designed and hotly debated in terms of their purpose, design, and subsequent success or failure.

How do you measure the success of your website?

Revenue from the site, number of hits on each page, and number of pages visited are commonly used figures to measure website effectiveness. These are useful statistics but describing behavior isn’t the same as understanding what drives it. To make informed decisions about improvements needed to your website, you need to understand the story behind those statistics. For example:
  • What made visitors choose your website?
  • Did your visitors find what they were looking for?
  • Will they visit again? If not, why not?
  • Did they accomplish what they set out to do?
